We are not only grateful servants, running gladly at his bidding.

Nor are we only friends, sharing his secrets and ours.

Nor only children, though each of these roles is astoundingly privileged.

We are welcomed still more deeply into sacred love.

We are his bride, and he enters most fully into our love, fills us most wholly with his, when we open to him our empty places. He fills. And opens us wider to love him and the world with his overflowing fullness.
